STANDARD FORMAT

We refer to our Circular letter No. CDO/P&HR-PM/59/2006-07 dated 25.01.2007,
wherein a new scheme for provision of Furniture & Fixtures to officers (Scale I to V) at
their residences was advised. In terms of the laid down guidelines, officers will be
responsible for maintenance of furniture/fixtures supplied to them. No repairs of the
furniture/fixtures, minor or major, will be undertaken by the Bank. The officers will be
eligible for reimbursement of expenses on account of repairs, annual maintenance
charges, charges for washing of curtains etc. The reimbursement of such expenses
will be at the following scale :

JMGS I - Rs. 9,000/- p.a.
MMGS II & III - Rs. 10,000/- p.a.
SMGS IV - Rs. 11,000/- p.a.
SMGS V - Rs. 12,000/- p.a.

2. The officers are required to claim this amount on a certificate basis. Those officers
who availed the facility of the new scheme on or before the 30th September, 2007 and
those who are already in possession of furniture/fixtures supplied by the Bank prior to
implementation of the new scheme, shall be given the lumpsum amount mentioned
above, in January 2008. However, officers who have availed the facility for the first
time from October 2007 onwards shall be paid the lumpsum amount in January 2009.

3. In this connection, a standard format for claiming the above amount has been
devised and the format is placed as Annexure to this letter. We advise that the format
may be used for claiming the above mentioned lumpsum amount.
